Celebrating the best of arts and entertainment in the Great Lakes Bay Region in October, 2013

The Fall In...Art & Sol is an initiative of the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance to bolster the region’s many arts, humanities and entertainment amenities while also exploring artwork that uses technologies for energy self-sufficient systems.  The Festival will run throughout October 2013, the 20th anniversary of National Arts and Humanities Month, an annual celebration of the arts and humanities in the nation as well as a coast-to-coast collective recognition of the importance of culture in America.

The Festival will feature a comprehensive program of events and activities throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region produced by local museums, galleries, symphony orchestras, dance and art studios, libraries, regional theater companies, performing arts centers, gardens and zoo, historical societies, nature centers, universities and colleges, etc.  The program will include exhibits, performances, workshops, showcases, symposia, classes, tours and more, all produced by many of the region’s finest organizations including:

The Fall In...Art & Sol will provide the impetus for participation from various partners to bring attention and focus to regional arts, humanities and entertainment amenities and a variety of design possibilities for reducing the use of fossil fuels. The Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance is reaching out to local businesses, civic associations, hotels and restaurants, airports, the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and others to encourage participation.  The Alliance’s mantra is “Everybody in, nobody out!”
