Events & Trainings

We’re excited to offer a series of events dedicated to promoting mental health and wellbeing, reducing stigma, and connecting our communities to resources. Whether you're looking to deepen your understanding of mental health, learn practical ways to support others, or become certified in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), our upcoming sessions are designed to empower individuals and organizations alike.

Our certified MHFA courses teach participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health or substance use challenges. These interactive sessions equip you with the tools to provide initial support and connect people to appropriate care.

What you’ll learn:

  • Common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges

  • How to approach, listen to, and support someone in crisis

  • Steps to take in a mental health emergency

  • Where to turn for professional help

Lifting Our Voices: Be The Light

Please join us for breakfast at our annual fundraising event to ensure that everyone knows where to turn for help when struggling with a mental health challenge, seeks help without fear of stigma and receives prompt access to excellent care.

Together, we can strengthen our communities by advancing anti-stigma efforts, fostering a culture of mental wellness, expanding workplace and youth mental health programs, and increasing access to care. The evening will feature a keynote address from Tess Kunik, Creative Director of The Liv Project and suicide loss survivor, as well as a powerful testimonial highlighting the impact of our recently implemented Teen Mental Health First Aid training.

Testimonials

Safety Wear

- Jason Dole, Safety Director at Sugar Construction, Inc.

“Mental Health First Aid training has enabled me to identify where there may be an issue and how to cope/work with different individuals. The training has equipped me with the knowledge to be a good listener and help individuals that may be struggling with certain aspects of life. I am confident to engage in situations, and comfortable being a shoulder for anyone that needs it until we can get them the help they need.”
